Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of Ahead. By accessing or using the product, you agree to them. Please read carefully: they describe what the service does, what it does not guarantee, and how we are liable.
Acceptance and capacity
By creating an account or using Ahead, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and legally capable to use the service.
The service and the beta
Ahead is a personal cash-forecasting tool: from the data you enter, it projects how much you will have available in the coming months. The service is in invite-only beta and may change, be temporarily unavailable, or have features altered or discontinued.
Registration and account
Your account is personal and non-transferable. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and not share access. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Plans and subscriptions
Ahead offers Free, Pro and Max plans, which unlock different features. During the beta, billing is not yet active and no payment data is collected. When billing is enabled, the commercial terms and payment processor will be disclosed in advance, and paid features will require an active subscription.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Ahead for unlawful purposes, and not to: (i) attempt to access other users’ data; (ii) reverse-engineer, decompile or copy the software; (iii) collect data by automated means (scraping); or (iv) overload, interfere with, or compromise the security of the service. Breach may lead to suspension or termination of access.
Intellectual property
Ahead’s software, its forecasting engine, the brand, the design and all product content are owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable and non-transferable licence to use the service under these Terms. Nothing here transfers intellectual-property rights to you.
Your data
The data you enter remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to operate and provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
Ahead is not financial advice
Projections are calculations over the data you entered yourself. They are a planning tool, not investment recommendations or financial, accounting or legal advice. Decisions made based on the projections are your sole responsibility.
Accuracy and no warranties
A forecast is only as good as the data behind it: missing entries, wrong amounts or an out-of-date closing day produce wrong forecasts. The service is provided “as is”, especially during the beta, with no guarantee that it will be error-free or always available. This does not remove the rights the Consumer Protection Code grants you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for financial decisions made based on the projections, nor for indirect damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that the law — in particular the Consumer Protection Code — does not allow to be excluded.
Availability, suspension and termination
We may change, suspend or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, especially during the beta. We may suspend or terminate your access in cases of abuse or breach of these Terms. You may stop using Ahead and request deletion of your account at any time.
Changes to these terms
If these Terms change materially, we will tell you at your registered email before the change takes effect. Continued use after that represents acceptance of the new version.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of Niterói, State of Rio de Janeiro, are the elected venue for disputes, without prejudice to a consumer’s right to sue in the venue of their own domicile under the Consumer Protection Code.
General provisions
If any clause is held invalid, the rest remain in force. Forbearance over any breach is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Ahead regarding use of the service. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in a corporate reorganisation.
